An improved PLA

Thus Almablend meets the needs of the food packaging sector

PLA is one of the most promising bio-polymers thanks to its superior mechanical properties and appreciable thermal stability compared to most bioplastics. Nonetheless, compared to conventional plastics, such as PET, PLA is still rather brittle and suffers from poor thermal resistance.

A technical compound, resulting from research work and experimental activities to obtain the perfect formula

Almablend overcomes such limitations yet maintaining compostability, thanks to a targeted design of a primary and secondary polymeric phase and selection of processing additives.
